The portal gets + Walters makes this all feel like an off-season NY6 bowl trophy and an expectation of 10+ wins this year. We're still leaving a lot of room for young OL/DL to take a significant step from last year though.

On offense we should be better but to win 10 games we still need impact guys on the inside and have to avoid an injury at tackle Our OLine sucks until it doesn't.
At safety we will be equal or better to what we were.
CB will be better if we can get Dixon or Davis opposite of Prysock.
LB is probably similar to this year if I had to guess.
DL/Edge is probably better but Parker is coming off of the worst possible injury for an athlete and Pepa has been unable to stay healthy. Probably need one more guy.
not sold on our edge guys. I like ward and Davis but they are too small to be 3 down guys and need to rotate. Durfee is fine when he plays but he never does. I am surprised we are yet to sign someone there.tldr. I hope the expectation is 10 wins because the staff needs to feel the pressure. But they need a few more impact guys and to avoid injuries for that to happen.

He's making moves like he knows he can't talk his way out of some 7-9 win season next year and UW seems to be providing enough venti coffee cups to make it happen. I have no clue if the Texas receiver is worth it, but we thought he was and we outspent a really desperate school to get him. He won't even be the #1 here and we still pulled him.
Going out and getting Walters when you could've just lazily stayed intact is a big deal. That's the kind of move that improves your team overnight.

For all his faults Fisch knows the excuses he floated this year will be null and void next year, and he is making offseason moves accordingly.

Has anyone geeked out enough to see what type of defense the new DC runs? I still think we need another impact D lineman but not exactly sure what type. Then one more impact olineman. Don’t care if it’s a tackle or a guard but just someone that’s going to fuck shit up.
