Huskies Land NAU Safety Transfer Alex McLaughlin

I know he’s another Big Sky player but I really like this kid. Broussard was pretty decent for UW last year and McLaughlins stats dwarf Broussards at that level. Players make plays and this dude stuffed the stat sheet. Tackles, PBU’s, INTS. He has a nose for the ball. A great pickup IMHO.

I don't automatically discount that. James Madison went 11-1 in the B1G

We are Northern Arizona North

Thanks Taft!

Dude’s a stud. Brother plays college basketball. Other brother plays for the Detroit Tigers org. He’s the scrappy youngest and balled out last year. A playa.👌👌

Really? I don't remember him doing much of anything after the first couple of cupcakes. The Big Sky call ups have been underwhelming to me until proven otherwise.

I did say, “Pretty decent”. He played the majority of snaps at his safety spot. Valdez would have been a nice pick up if he were the teams #3 DT in the rotation. He was the #1 here and that was a problem. Im optimistic.

Valdez was 4th on the team for tackles, 2nd for TFL, and 6th for sacks. He was the best defensive transfer we had in 2024

I know what y'all are saying, but what I'm saying is we're going 6-6 again if our best hope is having our big gun transfers be Big Sky guys.

It’s one BigSky transfer so far this year and I think the one we’ve got is a legit D1 type talent. I don’t think you’ll see a BigSky all star team suiting up for UW anymore.
