One of the lessons here would be, if this list is even remotely accurate, that you can spend a lot and still suck. Arkansas? Kentucky? Not surprising in the least that they can get money in the door. But they're not that good. So, what's worse? Not spending and hence not trying and sucking? Or spending and trying and still sucking?
I really don't have an answer. I guess I'd rather try and fail than sit smugly on the sidelines, arms folded, ready to role out my faggitty ass "I wasn't trying anyway, so whatever" when I don't win. And that is really the posture of a lot of doogs. Other fan bases have them too. Don't twist. But I hang around here for football and nowhere else.

Of course Oregon is buying a NC. Every program with a pulse is. Don’t let the ranking fool you, I’m as sure as my penis still tingles for Kate Beckinsale that there is a shit ton of unreported private money used on Oregon’s roster. But to be ashamed of it is ridiculous. Your school is either buying a NC, or not, and probably never sniffing it. Times have changed, like it or not. Get on the train, or let the train go by and bitch about how the game isn’t good anymore. Oregon chooses not to be the latter.
