https://fbschedules.com/big-ten-football-schedule-2025-release-set-for-wednesday-december-11/
Will be announced Wednesday at 11am
Biggest question is whether we host Purdue on 9/13 or have an untimely BYE after just 2 weeks
Two of Oregon's four are shared, so they don't play a single team with a week advtange. One of UW's five is shared. One of Ohio State's two is shared. Get_the_fuck_outta_here!
The excuses for 7-5 are readily apparent. Have at it doogs.
This shit matters man. Travel is an excuse. Weather is an excuse. This is not.
It take it back. This is some bullshit.
you can cry or you can do something about it.
One is easier than the other.
When Oregon loses to Ohio State in their first playoff game I'm gonna cry and do nothing about it.
and I’ll drink to that
The script is undefeated.
Based on BYE analysis, I'm guessing Illinois and Wisconsin are the two most likely candidates for Friday games
It's some bullshit. Yeah yeah, if the ballteams are good and win ballgames, it shouldn't matter. Of course. Of course. That's every season. It's still bullshit on a level I've never seen. It's a suck my dick west coast faggots kind of joke. Not very cool imo. I'm with you.
UCLA and Michigan should be bad next year - both teams will be replacing too much. Losses could be OSU, Wisconsin, and maybe Organ. 9-3 is likely. Need to beat OSU early in the season!
Every man, woman, and child should be marking 9/27 on the calendar.
Come to the North Deck if you're ready to stomp and slam metal like a fiend for 4 hours straight, slobber jetting from every corner of our mouths, creating a reverberation that measures at Rainier.
Buck has no idea what's coming.
If you don't think that Fisch can get 10 or 11 next year at this point then you don't think he can build a roster with a second year of the portal and his great recruiting nor can he coach good enough to get wins that you already think are a loss.
You are, in fact, not letting it play out you are saying he will fail here like the rest of the losers who did and he should just be fired now to get someone in here who can turn this bitch back around in a hurry like the good coaches do
We've had more exhibition seasons this century by far than real seasons. Pathetic.
Yeah. We get it. Men used to be men and rub some dirt on it.
But yeah. A bye week gives a team a real advantage. No doubt about it.
For example UW had two byes this year and got blown out twice after them
cry more
yeah the byes this year sure helped UW
Hockey teams play back to back days regularly I could care less about bye weeks. Same as caring about an extra hour on a plane. All these things are so overly analyzed and propped up by media to make story lines
I see 6-7 wins on that schedule if I’m being generous.
I'm sure however many games they win, Fisch will tell the team he's proud of them. He'll give them all trophies.
I'm not overly optimistic. I could easily see 7 wins and that spun as improvement. Still doesn't mean I think we're cold Fisch but I want more now, especially in the portal era.
Colorado State - W
UC Davis - W
at Coug - W, even with their top o the line grease this might be the year the portal does a number on them. Seems like Mateer might not leave though. Long/short don't feel great here. Narrow win for now.
Ohio State - L - they have to replace their entire depth chart on the fly and may be starting a young QB first road game so there's a chance. Day sucks too. Just can't pick us to win this game.
at Maryland - W, but could easily be 2025's Rutgers and on a Friday
Rutgers - W
at Michigan - L - they actually lose a ton of talent that should have won them more games this year but I'd pick whoever has this game at home
Illinois - W
at Wisconsin - L - they should suck but tuff road game
Purdue - W
at UCLA - L - want to say win but how many times have we won there the past 40 years and we generally have to be five times better than them to win there
Oregon - L - Can't wait to see what 18 new starters portal in. They seem to have gotten their Midas touch back in Eugene. Feels like another Duckade type loss.
7 wins an improvement?
Fire him now
Disagree.
Year 3 is still the barometer, so long as year 1 is minimally acceptable and year 2 is an improvement.
Literally no one else has done what DeBoer did here in the history of CFB. That was the exception and not the rule.
You hate Fisch more than I do and it's a new ballgame sparky
Add Cigarette at Indiana to the list
Win or get the fuck out as I reminded this morning
No downplaying expectations and throwing away years
Even Rick won the conference in year 2
I mean making the playoff year 3 is the bare fucking minimum. Which means you might want to try to have that box checked by year 2.
2026 will be special
EWU, Wazzu, and an unknown cupcake for OOC
Indiana, Iowa, Minn, PSU at home
Michigan State, Nebraska, Purdue, USC, Oregon the road
10-2 floor
I thought that about 2025. PSU/ at Oregon/at USC isn't really that different than tOSU/Oregon/ at Michigan. The rest is meh. Mich St is the same as Wisconsin. I guess Maryland is a longer flight than Purdue by an hour.
Big picture strategically kinda felt they were the same.
But the tactical assignment of the schedule fucked us with the byes. Or I guess pre-fucked us since we haven't lost yet, but definitely isn't set up to benefit little old Washington.
Fisch was hired based on his year 2 in Zona. If he can't do that here then there no reason to believe he ever will
It was Penix and Grubb. deBoer is a flacid fuck without them.
Assuming the portal season is fruitful (getting a KState OT today is a good start) … then it would not be surprising to see that the game vs Oregon is for a spot in the CFP for UW
