Not even top 10
Sad

Obviously Oregon isn't ready to compete with the BIG time programs.
-
lol at those LSU Coon Asses pooling their penny jars together to compete with the Texas Schools for the hearts and minds of 17yo boys.
-
15 of Oregon’s 23 starters started somewhere else
Sounds like they’re getting an absolute phenomenal return on their small investments -
Ohhhh look, it's the dipshit who claimed Lanning would be a bust.

I've posted this list directly from the NCAA site. The Husky crew much prefers the On3 list and intel from specific beat writers.
I really wonder if anybody really knows who is spending what. I'm pretty sure nobody here does.
-
There has to be plenty of money being spent by private parties and as far as I know there is no reporting requirements. Near certainty that nobody here knows.
-
I highly doubt Oregon isn't in the top 4 or 5 on total roster comp.
Again, I don't care. All the big programs are looking to "buy" a NC.

That's reasonable. But I keep asking the question, and the people here who pound the podium with the most indignation speculate, cite an On3 list that tells you their methodology is based on social media accounts and then go crickets when somebody cites an NCAA estimate. As a lawyer, I have learned to care more about what I don't know than what I [think] I do know. That has kept my ass out of the frying pan more times than I can count.
The agenda for the narrative is pretty clear, and I agree with the few reasonable voices here that it's sour grapes and petty.
But, while I'm bothering, I'll ask again: does anyone have an authoritative source for NIL spend? I'd actually like to know. Apparently it's been much harder to get data out of USC, Miami and other privates, and as you might expect, I'm super curious to know how much Miami has spent (rumored to be a lot) for a team with no defensive backs and average linebackers. A program that produced Ray Lewis, Jonathan Vilma, Jesse Armstead, Michael Barrow, Dan Morgan, Jon Beason, Winston Moss, Denzel Perryman, DJ Williams and a boat load more than that can't buy a fucking linebacker and has pay Cuog Maiugoia or whatever? A program that produced Michael Irvin, Andre Johnson, Santana Moss, Eddie Brown, Bret Perriman, Reggie Wayne, Brian Blades, Travis Benjamin and again a boat load of others can't buy an elite WR and have to deal with personal foul factory Jacolby George? Anyway, I digress.

This list has Indiana out spending Oregon and Washington. Washington is only a million behind Oregon. Nobody knows nothing
