I'd be ok with E. Davis and Bryce Butler at 1-tech and the Texas DT at 3-tech while the Parker twins get healthy. DeShawn Lynch could also play 3-tech.
we still need another dude in there aside from the massive texASS guy or similar. Even if he’s mid and merely provides a rotational opportunity so they wear teams down as the game progresses due to the many options… IMO.
Gulp, with Stevie B. most likely headed to NC, would any of you take Nansen back as DC if he could deliver Taco, Manu and the two Texas DL in the portal? I’m leaning no because I just don’t like the guy but I’d also like those four guys competing for playing time in spring. It’s a bunt single of a hire and I’d like for Fish to at least take a big swing for the fences. I’m torn.
It sounded like him, Valdez and Titialii were guys who had the potential to possibly find another year. I'm in the camp that they need to find better one-year upgrades and/or hopefully younger guys develop and needs those reps instead.
Where is it being talked about that Valdez might have another year? He’s the only dude I’d take back. Sagaoalu is a tub of goo in the Bandes mold, not a difference maker.
I'd be fine with Nansen for a year or two, he can recruit. He's a little shady but he did pretty well as DC last year at Arizona and learned more under Kwat.

Let's load him up with WILD Alaskan salmon and he'll be 300+ in no time.
Looks like Levi Onwooozereeeekayyy.

Yes, especially a beefy 1-tech since Butler and the Parker twins dealt with injuries last year.
They need a massive human on that line that can play first and second down in the B10.
If he could play 3 tech, he’d be playing there already.
This guy is a large human and could be back in 2025:

I’d bring Valdez back (I hear they called him Sea Bass) and while Titiali might’ve been our best OL, he wasn’t good.
I'd totally bring back Valdez, it would be amazing if he had an extra year. That would be great news.

The motto here is only the head coach matters, so sure, why not, especially if he can deliver high caliber players

Under no circumstances do you hire a DC for recruiting.
NIL is recruiting now, and to the extent coaches still matter, DCs matter the least.
I think I agree with this.
Nansen sucks. Nobody who was part of Sark's party posse at UW should ever return to UW.
i thought the same thing. He was surprisingly effective at zona, but I have my doubts.
I'm on the fence. I was about to agree with you then read the neighbor's post.
It seems like he would be a short term benefit in terms of the portal. I don't trust him to be much more than a dirt bag after that though.
This large human is available and visiting Baylor this weekend:
