If Oregon wins the Rose Bowl they’re winning the whole thing.

Everyone thinks the Duck part of the bracket is so hard.

Ryan Day and Sark? sure.gif I have no idea if Tennessee's coach is any good in such a game but they've definitely not played in such an environment.

Like any husky I like to bust on Lanning for 2022/3 but his results this year speak for themselves and he seems to get what needs to be done to win.

My comment is that it's an interesting bracket

Ryan Day and Ohio State both have a well documented SEC problem

Herbstreit said the bucks would have been better with a road game because they'll get booed as soon as something goes wrong

The winner is a worthy opponent

100% those shitheads boo at least 3 times a game.

the format is stupid (and not just for Oregon) and needs fixing for future years. As far as Oregon being on the “tough side”, you’ll have to beat the really good teams at some point to win it all which is the only goal. Oregon’s program is at the point where a quarterfinal loss is the same as a title game loss. It’s either win it all or people will be disappointed.

We should just vote for the national champion

my analysis is that a 12 team bracket is stupid

Make it 8 and be done with it.

NYD Bowls as quarterfinals and seed it out, allowing the top 4 to choose their bowls.

    Rose: (1)Oregon v (8)Clemson

    Sugar: (2)Georgia v (7)ASU

    Cotton: (3)Texas v (6)ND

    Fiesta: (4)Penn St v (5)Tennessee

Quarter Finals rotate between the Rose, Sugar, Orange, Fiesta, Cotton, and Peach. Rose and Sugar guaranteed a QF every year(B1G and SEC dictate as such)

Semis and finals rotate between SoFi, Phoenix U, Jerry World, NOLA, ATL, and Miami.

Sorry, (9)Boise. Playing in a power conference matters. Beat Oregon in September and you’d obviously be in. As it is

Sorry, (12)Bama. Next time don’t lose 3 games, one of them H2H with Tennessee and another at Vandy(lol)

Sorry, (10)tOSU. Next time don’t shit the bed at home against 6-6 Michigan to close out the year

Sorry, (11)SMU. The ACC is dogshit and was never getting more than 1 team as long as ND didn’t suck. Same with the Big12.

I’m sure I’m forgetting someone but fuck them too. Oh yeah Indiana. You played no one. Just like Miami. Lost to the only decent team you faced all year.

Well you don't even need 8

    Oregon

    Georgia

    Texas

    America can fight over 4

  • thechatchthechatch Member Posts: 6,332

You need 8 to play traditional NYD Bowls without a bunch of hand wringing. It was always the way to go.

Gotta keep the sweater vests in Pasadena and the seer suckers in New Orleans happy.

I might flip ND and Tennessee but otherwise my bracket is perfection and everyone knows it.

SMU and Oregon are on a direct collision course and during the very original “new minute timeout” with Oregon leading American’s only Super Volcano explodes and none of us actually have the fortune ($) to witness Oregon’s CEO hoist the prestigious natty trophy. Such a disappointment
