So far the only real cause for optimism I've seen is his last season at Arizona.

1 year out of 5. Shitty losses here. Excuse after excuse
It's not like we don't have 30 years of this shit to learn from
Ask your doog pals why they think 7 wins is good for his first three years. They're telling you he sucks
Hope this helps

Don't lump me in with Teq on this. Fisch needs to be in the playoff by year 3 or door ass out

Year 3
Sure
Then what UW fucks the program again
UW was in the playoffs last year. It played out. It was great.
Whatever but I'm not interested. Show me or fuck off.

You’re a senile old man if you think I don’t have standards
Don’t confuse me for understanding what this program has gone through since Petersen resigned and how this was the year we paid for that with somebody that toes the company line and excuses everything …
I do find it amusing how you’re stuck on blaming a laundry list of people that are not tied to this program anymore while you clean up the overflow from sucking off DeBoer
And while we’re on the subject of being ahead of the game here are some things that you don’t have to work hard in verifying …
I openly called out Jimmy Lake when he was DC for his continued flirting of leaving in order to get more control/responsibility and how UW may have been better off if he left … I was skewered at the time for that take … maybe just maybe I was right
While there’s obvious reason to be grateful for what DeBoer did here … I called out prior to him coaching here that there was some sketch with his tenure at Fresno (underlying metrics were good, not great and some massive eggs) … what we are seeing in Bama is much more consistent with what happened to him at Fresno … maybe just maybe DeBoer had a lot of things break right for him at UW and he ran real hot in coin flip situations
We all know Race that digging deep into the detail isn’t your forte compared to popping off with some witty retort that you inevitably contradict yourself on later

I’ve said in many places that my expectation is for UW to be in the CFP in 2026
I don’t know how aggressive they will be in the portal this offseason but a CFP run in 2025 is definitely possible
The big unknown is how they are going to balance the rebuild on building from within with the youth growing up vs aggressively supplementing gap areas -
I hate putting absolutes on anything because variables can have massive impacts
You want to see the program continuing to ascent year after year
But if not in the CFP after 2026 … I do think it’s very reasonable to have very frank and honest conversations about what things look like and whether the path is still moving forward

The Indiana game was also a winnable game that didn't go "right"
