Inflation
Went shopping yesterday. Twice overheard discount store personnel saying to customers that management was raising prices in anticipation of tariffs. Two different stores and conversations.
I'm going to enjoy reading the poasts of the girls who complained about 2.6% inflation (or "Hyperinflation!!!" in TugConspeak) as the weeks and months go by.

Well, I went to the store yesterday and they had these sale items like they were competing for my business with other stores. I think this is known as competition for the consumer's dollars. But if our mythical MBA is getting marketing strategy from Walmart greeters then I guess I'd have to defer. Geezus.

Inflation was at an annualized rate of 9% for an instant in 2022 and rapidly declined thereafter as supply chain/pent-up demand issues dissipated. It was never as high as 9% in any year and you girls mostly cried because inflation stubbornly stayed above 3% for several months. Then you cried as it gradually declined to 2.4%, which is considerably lower than the average rate of inflation over the past 120 years. Now it has SKYROCKETED to 2.6%.
The next four years aren't going to be kind to you rubes.

It's like the dazzler has gone to his discount store for the first time since January 2020 and then paid no attention to what things actually cost in November of 2024. Sort of like the dem candidate that the cabal ran for president in 2024 and adapted the dazzler's approach to inflation - just lie about it. Gasoline, electricity, food, clothing, housing things only the little people are concerned about. If there is a problem it's Kroger's 1.5% profit margin that needs to be confiscated. I'm not accusing the American voter of excess intelligence. But the numbers aren't going to lie. This economy has been the envy of the world and has been especially propped up by the American consumer.
It wasn't successful because of Biden and Presidents don't deserve much credit for the strength of the American economy. However, politicians can fuck the economy up. I'll enjoy watching you rationalize why the next few years will look worse by every measure you purported to deem important when Biden was in office. I don't think Daddy can hurt people in my position—but his voters will suffer.
