Kind of an off day for football yesterday so I did some slumming among the non P5. ASU, Utah, Colorado and Arizona are where they belong again. From the WAC to the rebuilt Big 12. ASU and Colorado were playing for the playoffs in good games. Kansas is in the midst of an epic closing run. ASU is still alive with the Boy Wonder Coach
Utah and BYU in a WAC classic. Utah is away from the bright lights of the west coast so on one cares that they suck this year
The expanded playoffs do make the late season more interesting if you have a coach that can beat the coogs or win a road game or two. The only real change is no more life and death to go unbeaten. There will be a three loss team in. Everyone is beating everyone now
Some day the B1G will go to a B1G Pacific division. CCGs are useless. Next week is entertaining but both B1G B1G games are meaningless.
I guess if we? are going NFL Lite the playoffs can stay
