AB Inbev bought Elysian several years ago, surprised this didn't happen sooner.

A friend of mine was a long tim engineer / mechanic there, and at the time of the purchase saw it coming and bailed…I still miss the sample / expired boxes he would deliver monthly to my doorstep…

I was in the beverage distribution business many moons ago, for several years, and I was living the dream. It peaked around 2007/2008 and has never been the same.

I have a grade school friend who was in the business around the same time frame. I saw him shortly after St Patrick’s day and he told me he had to pay a friend to take him to all the bars he had accounts with that day because he gets so hammered working.
I gave him my resume in case his company was hiring.

When I was a high school corch, my pitching coach was fresh out of college, and took a job as a rep for a distributor. He was good about not drinking otj, because games and practice. Game day, rivals, ranked1 and 2 in 4A, he shows up right at game time, with a full pack of gum in his mouth…his bosses were with him on his route, he refused and they insisted…he went through a box and a half of Tic Tacs, and I kept him in my hip pocket the entire game, and luckily we had no mound visits that day…fun tims, CSB
