I'm hearing it's unfair to compare Fisch's re ord to his because he had the luxury of bringing all his 5-star studs with him from (checks notes) James Madison University
I wonder if coaches contracts will eventually have written stipulations or monetary guarantees based on bringing certain players from their old school?
Cignetti is 63. Every year of this new contract is equal to 12-15 years of what he's made most of coaching career.
risk of not taking it/waiting versus potential reward of a bigger program white whale offer versus 72 million dollar extension after 10 games as a D1 coach is a complete no brainer.
Dude got the biggest schedule lottery ticket in 100 years and is scurred and did the Mel Tucker 2.0 let's get a big deal before I lose to Ohio State 70-17. Hope he doesn't stroke it on the phone with a consultant.

probably didn’t have a bizarre rosy cheek fem-bitch like Dannen as AD.
What's the buyout
eleventy zillion dollars
Who fucking cares?
buyout matters when a big program wants to buy him out

UW AD has set up a Zoom call for next week with Indiana AD to find out how they did that
They probably should have consulted with you first and then wait a couple months
What matters is they got it done with big programs able to get him for no buyout right now
True, and good for Indiana for getting it done.
No two coaching searches, or extensions, are the same.
You often move goal posts to make your arguments
I'm pretty consistent. Glad you're posting this on your alt account, whoever you are.
DeBoer didn't want to be at UW for whatever reason. Cignetti wants to be at Indiana for whatever reason.
hth
I'm suprised Cignetti didn't want more money, seems pretty lowball for his production….because he wanted to fucking be there
lol
Sure
I guess they didn’t consider how this impacts the ole savings account in THIS economy. Not very sustainable IMO
He may have jumped the gun…
this belongs in top reasons why fish has underperformed and someone cries about all the roster turnover. Possibly the top doog excuse.

And was able to bring in a dozen+ starters already familiar with him.
That's so fucking cool. You should suck his dick.
