I get that, but what is ignored in the speculation is that if DeBoer wanted to be here, he would still be here.
I've left jobs that I didn't want to leave. I don't think it is being ignored in the speculation. I just think some people are giving the UW AD too much credit for "trying" and not enough blame for coming up empty.
They played it like they had a bunch of leverage while the rest of CFB was crowning this guy as a serial killer coach.
