A UW coach should be driving to work so early and leaving so late traffic isn't a thing but I'm sure it popped up for DeBoer sometimes and I can picture that small town fuck being all butthurt about it and pining to be in some shit college town in the midwest or south where it's not a thing.
I miss everyone bitching about Petersen going to work not until it's light out and drinking fancy coffee. Taking a boat to work as the UW coach is a flex we need back.
And UW boosters are not half as obsessed as Bama boosters. UW could scratch and fight and claw for a decade to MAYBE get to top 12 nationally in booster support.
Alabama is already at number 1. Maybe 2 behind Texas. Recruiting becomes 100 times easier at that gig.
Being this butthurt about a coach replacing Saban is something else. I get it's a blow to your ego Race.
It could be as simple as DeBoer fucking hated Seattle, thought our recruiting hotbed sucks ass compared to the South, which it does, or some other factor.
Thinking UW is on the level of Alabama is a fucking doog take. It just is.
As soon as Sexton whispered in DeBoer's ear that Saban is gonna retire, DeBoer stopped recruiting and was door.ass.out.
The thing is, we don't know what the UW AD did or didn't do, and we don't know what's inside DeBoer's head. All of this is speculation. So what's left is what actually happened, which is all we can go on. And what happened was the best UW coach since Don James got away. Maybe UW can "never be Alabama" but how do we know for sure? Don't forget, Alabama wasn't even the Alabama we think of today before Saban saved their asses. Prior to Saban, they had a parade of clowns leading that program … Mike DuBose (!), Dennis Franchione, Mike Shula … yikes!
DeBoer, for all we know, could have been UW's Saban. But here we are. Stuck with a Fisch sandwich.
I've left jobs that I didn't want to leave. I don't think it is being ignored in the speculation. I just think some people are giving the UW AD too much credit for "trying" and not enough blame for coming up empty.
For whatever reason, Deboer didn't want to stay at UW, at least not very badly. That was the failure. Then they failed to change his mind. That was #2.

There are solutions

I'll double my commute for a couple million more
So would anyone
Out here in the real world it literally always is about the money 💰
Yeah. It's about the money.
And UW boosters are not half as obsessed as Bama boosters. UW could scratch and fight and claw for a decade to MAYBE get to top 12 nationally in booster support.

Fuck off loser. You have no idea what you're talking about
Maybe 2027
Or 28
Who cares?
Yeah. Im the one who has no idea what I'm talking about.
Sure.gif
It's obvious
Baseless speculation to run cover for an inept administration
Same shit different day
I love watching a good Race vs PGOS fight
UW should've offered 50 million a year after the Oregon game!
At least I'm not the one larping as the CFO for UW, lol

You're the fucking loser
Hope this helps
Some people are just too fucking stupid to get it. And UW needs those stupid people
I get that, but what is ignored in the speculation is that if DeBoer wanted to be here, he would still be here.

They played it like they had a bunch of leverage while the rest of CFB was crowning this guy as a serial killer coach.
I don't think anyone is giving the UW AD credit
The AD was fucking retarded

I don't see anything to argue about.
You must not have grown up with a lawyer for a dad and a know it all genius for an older brother
I've been arguing about everything since I was 5
I believe it.
That wasn't really aimed at you though.
