I've got a great feeling about Sprinkle. He has a history of getting the most out of this players. Requan Battle was a two year, no confidence, nobody at UW. He became what everyone said he should be out of high school under Sprinkle, a hyper athletic slasher, scorer. After two years at MSU he got a bag from West Virginia where he averaged 17ppg in the Big 12 as a senior. Great Osobor was a nothing recruit from England that Sprinkle got to Montana State. Redshirted, then barely played, followed Sprinkle to USU and became the MW POY, then instead of going to a proven blue blood he decided to stick with the guy who had helped to make him. Players become the best versions of themselves under Sprink. He brought in 8 transfers and seven of them averaged double digits in points at their other schools. Big East, A10, MW, WCC, AAC, P12 and Summit leagues represented by the transfers. Two top 100 freshman join the team in guards Zoom Diallo and Jace Butler. The roster has six kids 6'8' or taller that have played significant minutes of D1 basketball. KC Ibekwe was a fouling machine at OSU. He's a 19yo junior that hasn't played much basketball in his life. I think Sprinkle can make this kid a legit D1 center. He's a massive human. Maybe not to start the year but by the end he will have grown a ton. I'm excited. B10 teams coming to town, I'm going to make the trip south a few times to see the team play. My father in law is from Indiana and I'm planning on taking him when the Hoosiers come to town for sure. I expect them to be very competitive this year. They might end up 17-14 again but it won't be the roller coaster that Hops teams were.
yes they will suck… Especially when teams double Osobor like tonight.
UW’s issues are they can’t shoot 3’s, can’t shoot free throws or jump shots. They also foul and turn the ball over a lot….
If Sprink is good then in 7-8 games he’ll find the best combos and rotations for the players he’s got. They lost the big from Oakland to injury and Ibekwe hasn’t played a minute yet this year. Not sure why. This has made the front line thin. DJ Davis was supposed to be the best shooter and I’m not sure he even played tonight. Jace Butler didn’t play in game one and hit two threes tonight. He’s mixing and matching players liberally right now. By B10 play they’ll be whatever they’re going to be and IMO should be competitive.

sooo… you’re saying there’s a chance?
Yes!
I will watch a couple early season games for the first time in probably 7-8 years. There is hope.
Didn't want to start a new thread. Recruiting seems to be headed in the right direction. Though, that never seemed to be the problem.
good start
…maybe, maybe not…but will still be….
this picture confirms that we will be setting some fruity picks.
Apparently we lost to Boise State by 30 in a scrimmage game
They got that Jeanty kid so I’m not too worried.
The entire conference is going to be mediocre next season. I don't think we have one team finish in the top 10 with maybe 2 fringe top 20 teams.
I think we may get 4 tourney teams
Purdue 3-5 seed
Indiana 4-6 seed
Ucla 7-10 seed
Rutgers or Illinois 10-12 seed
But on the bright side, we could dominate the NIT bracket
You are quite possibly the best poster on this site. Always the optimist, I enjoy reading what you have to say. You seem like a really good dude!
Picture of dude with the ball on his feet...
Gay?
Awe shucks. Thanks man, I appreciate that.
I'm stoked for Sprinkle just like I was for Fisch! Can't wait!!!
LOL

Nevada’s not a good team either
