He's fucking terrible on 3rd down and that won't just be overlooked unless he is fine with taking a step down from actual DC.

This. Our defense turns opposing offenses into 2023 UW on 3rd down.

Lincoln is too innovative to keep running the ball down the throats of our DAWGS. Penn State and Oregon will have no hesitation to do it
Pass defense will remain highly ranked in those two losses. Baby Bill is a good DC at a minimum. People pay on potential way more these days. UW is not dripping with talent. If they can get a D line they could really be good in that scheme

I don't think the defense has shown enough to not have Belichick around for at least another season. The third and fourth and long D has been suicidally bad and the pressure has been really missing.

he has done a great job given the personnel. We have good/decent linebackers and corners are basically are undermanned at every other position. If we had some better talent he defense would be a real strength.
