We play each one 3 out of 5 years in the cycle. This was the only year we play both.
This is the price we must pay for not having to lose to Cal and Furd every year. It's a good trade imo.

I attended our 2017-18 road losses at Cal and Furd and watched a lightning game and I don't think I've been the same since all that. At least I didn't attend the lightning game.

We hadn't played them for a few years and then played last year. So I got to wondering if they had determined a date for next year's matchup, and was surprised to see that once again we miss them. So I was surprised by that.
