If you have $20 million laying around

That's how I feel. While he / staff are very good recruiters, the jury is still out on him as a game day coach.
I agree about his aspirational angle and it was meant for the local audience. It's not like he just played one of those $20 million rosters and then is saying he lost because he doesn't have a $20 million roster.
But we can still mourn what college football used to be before Phil Knight (and Les Wexner, big Ohio State booster) started ruining it.
-
Ohio State did, in fact, spend $20M on its roster this year according to their AD.
-
Did you fact check with anonymous fans on message boards if that's accurate though? I generally find them to be the experts.
$20 million some ways doesn't even seem like that much though? For 85 scholarship guys that's $235k per-player and that starts dropping as you factor in paying a QB a big chunk of that add in star RB and aren't you paying the big time recruits in your recruiting class in a given year, the guys you're buying out of the portal, and the guys you have to pay who are already on your team?
-
With incentives, I think Ryan Day makes close to $10 million per year. I'm not a big fan of how things currently are, but with that in mind, the guys that actually put their bodies on the line divvying up $20 million doesn't seem as outlandish.

fuck Vanilla and its 272736363 characters too long body sideways.

This isn’t the place to write a novel. However, if you need help writing your book, I know an author who specializes in Husky lore and gay romances (depending on your interests). Reach out for more info.

How much are we paying highschool players?
NCAA screwed up. 5 years ago they should have said nah this is amateur football if you want to be payed go to the NFL (or a G league) out of HS otherwise sign up for 4 years with this scholarship. No one cares about the 200 players demanding NIL. It's the colours and the fans that make cfb good

well I know what I'm doing in 2026.
-
It used to be "we're thin in the secondary" year after year.
-
I have always been a realist.
Race said it best a few weeks ago. This is a case by case season.
After Michigan everyone was dooging and loving Will Rogers due to his play and heartfelt postgame interview.
This week, UW got a corn cob shoved in their ass and everyone should be fired.
Get healthy, beat Indiana, beat USC, and head to Penn State at 6-3 and see what happens. Or fuck off, Jedd

I watched the entire video.
I highly, highly doubt that this is some message to average fans when Montlake Futures is blasted fucking everywhere on gamedays.
It's a weird message but not meant for the fans and the Seattle Times guy that people here like took it out of context and is arguing with people on X and being condescending about that.
Both Seattle Times guys esp. Sportsball Andy! suck ass. Sorry.
-
I know this is just Jedd telling the boosters to pony up what we? and Ohio State are.
but it's funny to make fun of him about it anyway.
-
I don't even know that it's that.
I don't know what the message is. Is it worth shitting pants about when some fucking Mizzou beatwriter Vorel purposefully takes it out of context and then acts like a sandy vag when he's called about it on X?
I never cared about Petersen's press conferences. I never cared about DeBoer's. Fisch is more similar to Petersen than DeBoer for good or bad.
I refuse to believe that a guy at Arizona succeeded but would fail at Washington. The reasons would be that 2023 was a fluke or that Washington just has much higher expectations, and 7 games isn't enough to confirm any of that.

Babs
Todd
Pool Boy
Jen
Troy
Pat
Not exactly a murderers row of football ADs
Babs killed the program twice and she's the best of the lot
Pool boy won a natty at LSU but couldn't wait to get out of here
It's monopoly money 💰
Oregon and Ohio State understand that
And spend it to make it
-
You can't afford it!
-
Doogman poasters say every Oregon starter is getting $1,000,000. Better up that ante.
-
each one gets the same? Communism!
-
As a libtard, that was also my first thought.
-
I take it back, per Dawgman you chucklefucks have $400 million in the bank. Where’s the money? Wrong answers only.
also we? are just shy of a billion. How many natties can we buy with that?
-
Are you suggesting Kim pays $500 to be able to stand near the tunnel?
-
Michigan was the aberration.
-
-
aren’t these NIL companies non-profit? If so, don’t they have massive tax penalties and consequences (like losing non profit status) for having that kind of cash sitting around that the doogman losers claim there is?
-
if Oregon’s (and other’s) NIL fund was almost 4x the nfl salary cap, why would anyone ever go play in the nfl?
-
Let's ask Cam Rising
Just got an 8th year
-
Imagine $400 million being spent on the Husky football we're going to see in the coming years. Imagine giving a million fucking dollars of anyone's money for Jabbar Muhammad to play football?
-
Well given you're not allowed to keep playing in college after a certain point you literally can't. Otherwise, yes, there would be players who would stay in college forever.
