My thoughts on the Ohio State game

I posted this on the game thread, but figured it might need a separate thread.

WTF Holden? The dude really spat on a defender while we? are in goal to go in a top 3 matchup? I did like how he laughed it off on the field and trying to flex like it was no big deal, then the moment the camera pans to him in the tunnel, he collapses in absolute emotional pain. Hopefully the kid learns something from this. Because that was dumbAF.

Derrick Harmon is a fucking beast, that is all I can say about him

That onside kick if intentional is an amazing strategy. You play dodgeball with the receiving front line, and if they dodge it, then at worse you get a squib kick. If it does make contact then there's a chance the ball bounces back into the kicking team's direction, making a recovery much more likely.

The 12th man penalty at the end of the game was NFL level scheming. Chess vs checkers move, that will honestly lead to a rule change in the next year or so.

Jordan James ran very well, but people aren't talking enough about his blitz pickups. Jordan James single handedly prevented five sacks that I could count in that game. Absolute gamer.

Oregon's secondary is not very good. They don't play the ball, and it could be an issue come playoff time.

Ohio State found out that they can't simply leave their corners on an island.

Denzel Burke might have cost himself a full round to a round and a half draft position in this game alone. That guy got absolutely abused by Evan Stewart.

The crowd noise at Autzen hit a new stratosphere. Rumors are the crowd hit over 130 decibels at one point.

Considering how Oregon limited Ohio State's rushing attack, it's safe to say that Ashton Jeanty needs to be the top player as of now on the Heisman list.
