Long but interesting throughout. I was rooting for the uwdoogpound writer who had UW at #6 and other fucktarded stuff in his power ranking to be mentioned in the doog of the week segment.
About Nick Pasquale: I briefly searched around to see what happened because all the pieces about him on ESPN and P12 Network never mentioned alcohol or anything, just that he was hit by a car while walking home. While you can easily find reports that his blood alcohol content was .26, I had to search through some comments to finally find someone who mentioned that the police report says he was crossing a highway (no xwalk obviously) when struck, which is why the driver wasn't charged. If he did weigh around 170-180, then he was pretty fucked up with a .26. It's a sad story for sure, but that's pretty fuckin dishonest to not even mention in the stories that he was fucked up and had no business crossing a highway at night like that.
I used to walk down 45th from the greek system down to my place near the Petco when I was in school, completely fucked up at 2-5 am. If some homeless guy would've come and shanked me, that's on me.
If I remember right, they showed the place where he was hit on one of those shows (The Drive). It looked to me to be the equivalent of trying to cross 99 in Seattle without a cross walk. So yeah... Not much sympathy there.

Yeah, not to completely go off on a tangent but with some exceptions, the media in this country is just crap. I guess if the added that he was drunk and crossing a busy highway illegally, the sympathy factor goes way down? So less profit? I don't know, I can't think that sleazy.
Good chit on the podcast. I always screw up and hit the wrong button so I missed out on the last eight or ten minutes.
I agree that if they lose this game, it might be a long season ending in Albuquerque or something.
There's been parity in the PAC 10 for a while, even when Caroll was coaching the condoms. This year though you might end up with 8 or 9 teams bunched between the 10th and 45th best teams.

Comments
I guarantee UW wins by at least 1 point, score ends up in the mid 30's coming down to a final play
Many crazy games down there, I am reminded of a young Damon Huard making a debut back in '93 (Gilbsboobs vs Lambo)

I mean, I feel sorry for the dude and his family, but that is natural selection at its finest.
