I call this a flagrant personal foul with a one game suspension ~ the guy materializes out of nowhere and then takes the ballcarrier out with undefendable angle to the knee. Intentional or not, that is a flagrant foul.

I've evolved on the appropriate punishment. Originally thought a suspension would be fair, but I now think death by firing squad is the correct solution.

Apologies to anyone in Section 103 around rows 20 I may have been screaming about keeping the Pac-12 refs once I saw the clown head ref walk out and take away the first touchdown of the season. Seriously remember that guy and how much he sucked like all his brethren.
