Glen Powell?
Guess I am old. WTFIT?
-
Powell’s character in the Hulu show attempts the same stunt at a fictional university in order to try and revive his failed playing career.
I guess the studio that's making this didn't think Oregon was a big enough brand to be the present day location in the show. Did those assholes not watch Animal House?!
-
Had you known I would have respected you even less than I already do.
He’s a rising superstar who never takes a bad role. -
Nice to know there is room for you to respect me less
-
The plot of the TV series: middle age meth head chases NIL to fuel drug habit.
Looking at the picture in the op, they nailed the casting. -
"Never takes a bad role"
Ehh.
-
in the movie they beat Idaho by 11
-
I think I'll survive.
-
This guy wins
-
I don't know who he is, but he looks like an actor portraying a football player
-
You didn't watch Top Gun Maverick?
His popularity imo is from playing in a bunch of traditional, Americana type movies that Hollywood hates.
Anyways I don't know why Ducks want to relive their ass blasting by Georgia via a fictional flashback but here we are.
-
Its going to be on Hulu which is one of the most popular and valuable streaming services out there. Probably second only to Netflix.
-
Big, if true.
-
Guy looks like he might be fibbing a few long inches being 6'0 on his Wikipedia. Still significantly taller than the current starting Oregon QB.
-
Hulu and Apple+ suck outside of one miniseries that Jake Gyllenhaal did. Sorry
-
Nobody is bothered by this. They’re just doing background ops on an actor they’ve never heard of until yesterday.
#mothersuperior -
Top Gun, Anyone But You, Hitman, and Twisters. I had already seen his movies and saw that he was doing a TV show that wondered why someone as big as him right now would even consider that.
Please continue your fantasy though. A fictional flashback in one episode is clearly worth mentioning after we just got to see George Clooney make a movie about the UW rowing team.
-
Hulu is about to be sold for 12 billion dollars and that’s for only the remaining portion of the streamer.
I mean who is it that’s in fantasyland here? -
…and?
Hulu is for Poors.
-
I still haven't seen it. It is buried in the queue
-
^^^Knows nothing about streaming content^^^
-
Sorry that you're poor Mike. Hope you're getting your 12.99/month's worth.
-
Lost three in a row but Hulu
Sad. Just sad
-
Glen Powell is the hottest male star out there. And he’s definitely 6 feet. He was in Portland a few years ago and I saw him at Powells books. I was going to let him know how talented I thought he was in one of his indie’s I had just seen but the group I was with was ready to head over to Voodoo. He’s already being called the next Brad Pitt. Hulu is about to be sold for 12 billion. I know where I stand on this.
-
It's based on that Eli Manning viral video from a few years ago so they're clearly trying to create a football version of Ted Lasso since that also was created from jokey commercials. He's a huge Texas football fan so I wonder why they didnt' have it be the Longhorns.

I'm not sure why I'm supposed to care about this. I guess Lanning finally gets to claim a big win. I'm very happy for you, Mikey.
-
You’re not supposed to… But here we are.
-
Reminder: we? aren't in a Duck site. None of the content is sought after. Oregon needs people to pay attention to them and you cheer for every ounce of cringe.
-
The biggest smackhead here saying the content isn’t sought after.
Deary me.
