The black uniforms from 2020 where there's actual "snow" on the uniform and the team is cosplaying like mushing huskies should have been kept, and then we bring them out whenever we're scared of getting plungered like when Oregon did this with their Cal jerseys.
Yeah it was some time ago when UW could have gone the traditional route and said fuck you to white helmets and all-black uniforms. I blame Lambo for taking the first wrong turn with the concord grape lids (ILTCTLIDT). Then came the 2000s, and UW turned into WSU and OSU when it came to butchering their traditional look.
It’s always been an arms race with Oregon. FTG’s and their 5,000 variations of tinfoil and grello. Now it’s business ball and branding so keep the tradition 90’s style with a combo here and there.

They do to me, along with any kind of chrome or purple helmets.

They don't. Those two combinations have been made our defaults in NCAA25 because the old staff wanted to use them so much.
Since the 2nd season of Adidas we've been given exactly 1 alternate uniform to be used against 1 shitty team only, and then they've never been used since.
It is a shame that the best ones were done in 2021 pos 4 win year.
This jersey is ugly AF, which means we'll? probably wear it this season. The 2023 alternates at home vs ASU were god awful, as well as the 2022 away vs Cal I think is was.
These are the only alternates I could stomach, everything else they've thrown out there have been shit as fuck:
