Friend of mine said the good thing about being catholic was you could do whatever you want, go in on Saturday for confession and clean your record. He equated it to like a living etch-a-sketch - erases all the bad every week.

My cousins used to go to Saturday evening mass so they could stay out late, sleep in on Sunday and not feel guilty.
