Softy is such a fucking moron (Water is wet). Every idiotic question he asked, the look on the coaches' face is like, 'Who is this dumbfuck and why is he allowed in the building?' My God.
Overall first impression though, these coaches are well spoken, knowledgeable and all business. Hopefully that resonates with the players and UW maintains the success we've? had the last couple seasons, although I realize that 2024 was going to be a transitional year regardless.

How many ways can they all ask the same questions of the DC? Introductory press conference, spring press conference, fall camp press conference. All the same bullshit. The horse is dead. Seattle sports media is the worst, bar none. Further, why no questions about Wayne? He’s local, he was a 5* edge out of HS, he was a 4* transfer and he’s played more D1 snaps than Durfee, yet all anyone in Seattle wants to know about is the big D3 kid from Minnesota. Boggles my mind.

Anyone notice that Brennan Carrol said his dad has "taken an interest in local high schools". What does that mean? When asked if Pete is volunteering somewhere Carrol laughed it away and says "absolutely not" and "that's as far as I'm going with that one". Is Pete scouting local high schools for UW? Doing some side recruiting? That was a weird exchange. Would be great if he was scouring the state for all the legit talent and identifying those kids that are overrated. (looking at you Smalls, Gilchrist, Latu and Prentice) There's always 2-3 kids that look good on the hoof but don't love football and there's always 2-3 kids that come from nowhere and ball out at Boise or Oregon State. Keep the paid staff in California, Utah, Hawaii and Arizona pulling in the rare humans that are abundant and let Pete mine Washington for the 7-10 prospects a year that could really help the program. A doog take by a doog at heart but here's to dreaming.
