The problem is that their eyes are open and they approve of the lying and cheating. At best, some are true believers and think that lying and cheating is the high moral ground when faced with a despot and fascist like Hitler. Just don't ask them why Trump is Hitler. In most cases, it just lying and cheating for free sh*t and power. Marie Perez running for re-election to Congress from Southwest Washington is proudly proclaiming that she doesn't take money from big corporate PACs. Here is her top five donors to her campaign in 2022. I didn't see any 2024 numbers but the dems in hot contested seats take in piles of money from teacher unions and government employee unions. That's completely different for some reason.
