Maryland and Rutgers Update

Still think that outside of Ohio State/Michigan and maybe Penn St, the Pac schools are going to come in with much better quarterback play and knock these fuckers like Nebraska and Iowa down another peg from where they previously were. Rowboat's going to eventually get fired because of it.
Ton of schools in the B1G simply suck at offense and developing good QB play, and that's not something that's just immediately fixed by them having new coaches.
-
A bunch of writers for the Athletic picked Iowa to make the playoff.
Iowa.Apparently most of their defense is back but my god. I know Iowa made sure to hack the future schedules (the only school with 3 rivalry games: Neb/Wisc/Minn) but still.
-
7 or lower and we have problems.
-
It's a lot easier when it's just top 12
-
wanna fucking boatload of the Circa sports book in December. Guess I’ll have to do it again.
-
yes it is. But my counterpoint is this: they’re still Iowa.
-
The B1G media people are already insufferable and the season hasn't even started yet.
-
I remember that movie Longlegs was advertising itself as the scariest movie of the decade, but I think that's false, pretty sure it's that Fornelli guy's beard.
-
Agreed. Except, its not really the media type that bug me. It is the Eukland/Fatters/Kimmy counterparts that could NEVER be confused with anything related to actual journalism. Your poont still stands. One fucking Nebraska moron (writer?) didn't know they got their AD from Warshington. JFC.

Washington has 3 conference titles, 2 playoff appearances and a Natty run and Nebraska with their dream coach fired and a new dipshit hc is just hoping to make a bowl. I hope all Nebraska fans, at some point, have to think about that and let that sink in when they see UW at the B1G media days.
Troy Dannen got to smoke victory cigars for absolutely no work on his part and now he's at a school that cares 10x more than UW and can't even make a bowl. And apparently can't even keep up with UW's NIL. Fuck that guy.

Yeah the Rutgers and Illinois guys on the Podcast of champions were funny to me. Like, what a miserable fucking existence and both know they will get relegation at some point.
Some of the excuses being made by both guys, I mean Jesus move those teams to the Pac 2 or else they're never winning anything.
-
We were on a snorkeling boat in Maui and there was a Nebraska fan talking to someone else and I overheard the woman say "we're just hoping Matt Rhule can bring us back to the promised land." I'm not sure if I thought that was funny or if I felt sorry for them.
-
I would actually like to see Nebraska return to relevance.
Their fans deserve it more than anyone else in the Big 18.
I really hope UW absolutely sows the fields with salt on the Minnesota's and Purdue's of the conference.
Falling to 2nd half in a conference with as much dreck as the Big 18 is unacceptable. The corn schools need to get blown out in Seattle, and we? need to get it done on the road.
-
The corn schools? In Seattle?
Our Big Ten teams this year are NW, Michigan, USC, and UCLA
-
Moving forward. NW isn't in the corn, but is corn tier.

I don’t think usc has a qb. I think the unlv transfer will be the starter by October
-
Moss looked terrific in the bowl game. /shrug
Okay, nevermind, fuck that guy.
-
I got it.
-
would have thrown 5 picks against a team that cared. Those windows he was throwing into, woof.
-
USC feels like they're becoming Nebraska or Miami. They went 7-5 last year with Caleb Williams and they're recruiting as poorly as I imagine they ever have in California.
-
Why not both?
-
Somehow, for those that were really paying attention, Lincoln Riley embarrassed himself more than the UCLA coach who stumbled through his opening statement.
Dude straight up trying to convince his own fans that this should be a long rebuild down there.
-
-
Winning games. Not jerking off to and defending giant water floaties or some nonsense about "I was golfing with a recruit in Eugene and MARCUS was there!!!!"
-
USC seems like they're in big trouble. Riley sure as hell looks like more proof that winning big time as a coach in college football can be pretty fucking easy if you're in a great setup situation like he was at Oklahoma but can be real hard if you're not.
-
Love it. Need to push the narrative about actual games and shit that has happened other than hypotheticals for next year as long as possible. 5-3 against Oregon since 2016 and two of those Oregon wins were exceptionally close (I know two of UW's were too yes) and one was against Jimmy and was still somehow a one-possession game. I know FanDuel has Oregon favored by 152 this year but that shit can't even happen for 4+ months so let's talk about shit that actually is reality.
-
I can't even begin to express how happy this makes me. If Sark and Riley have taught us nothing else, it's that Oklahoma and Texas were two very easy places to win and win big…in the regular season that is.
-
you have no idea the damage Helton did!
