I looked at my wife when we were watching CNN's take on things a couple hours after the shooting, and said "They are trying to blame Trump and Republicans". They literally are preparing for the violence so that they can blame Republicans and that awful MAGA group (whoever that is). The literally could care less that someone just tried to kill Trump, they just want to cover their political ass and hope that if there is retaliation they can say "See, we told you they are violent".
We all know which side has been violent and uncontrolled and it isn't Republicans.
