I haven’t read the actual passage, all I how is how the Leftist media narrated it, but if she did put in the book she “hated” the dog that’s just fucking stupid.
And yes, suburban moms pay a veterinarian to put down their unruly pets which apparently makes it acceptable. My step-daughter just did a few months ago with a biter who had snapped for some reason. Their other dog is the nicest dog, though.
