The Soros sponsored Portland/Multnomah Co. DA that was elected in a landslide in 2020 just got defeated by a semi-normal Senior DA who challenged him. Like any Soros DA, the DA refused to charge crimes, reduced felonies to misdemeanors and engaged in selective prosecution. Three years of free range for Portland criminals. Once faced with a serious challenger, he started to get a little serious about car theft and gun possession and tried to focus on all these initiatives that reversed his prior soft of crime policies. Field is open for Republicans that want to run on a law and order platform.

That asshole is one of the reasons I finally moved out of Portland and left Oregon. Funny thing is, the same retards who elected him now think it’s a mistake years later when to me it was an obvious disaster from the moment he was made interim.
Schmidt was an unmitigated disaster.
Defunding the police and decriminalizing fentanyl were all great ideas whose sell by date should have been the week before the laws were enacted.
The entire Portland downtown and politicians got TDS sometime in Summer 2016 and it’s been failed policy after failed policy since then until now it’s a shell of what people like me helped to build there. It became apparent my vote didn’t matter but our taxes did so we moved when we finally were able to comfortably do so.
Better if he stayed and the place continued to burn. Dem run cities need to get bad enough they are no longer dem run cities.
