Newsom would get slaughtered on a national stage. He got picked apart by Ron and Ron can't win the GOP primary.
-
I mean, yeah, sure, maybe. Call it a pointless gut feeling. Maybe we'll get Gavin vs Ron in 2028. Could be interesting.

Newsom*
I'm a dumbshit for adding the 'e'. I may hop over to California 3-5 times a week but I'm not Californian. My governor is Sheriff Joe Lombardo.

gotta say that narcissistic, clear mental retardation is likely to play better than dementia addled in a 90 minute debate. And I’m a liberal. Cannot believe us “demonrats” are running this old fucker again.
But you know what I miss? When Republicans were not the victim party. Ronnie just fucking got it done and made a joke. Might have disagreed with him, but he got it done. Respect.
My side had all the victim mentality. Single mothers, crack babies, birth defects, the retarded, communists, gays. Hard work to get them going in one direction to accomplish anything. Or just to not look at the world as a victim.
Now? Look at this thread and every tug thread. All you MAGA people seem to do is nothing but bitch about how much of a victim you are. It’s fucking endless. And pathetic.
QUIT COPYING OUR SHIT, FuCKO!

If it works it works

We just want the government to leave us the fuck alone.
Your side actively wants the government involved in every facet of everyone's lives.
There's A slight difference there.

Both parties are too involved in the single white female vote where government is the daddy
When I was voting democrat the GOP was the reliable voice of business and the rich. That has kind of turned as well. We have Biden fans touting the stock market and Trump voters concerned about the workers
I voted for Clinton twice largely for immigration being in construction. He was Trump before Trump. Check the speeches. The GOP wanted cheap labor and had a pipe dream that illegals would end up voting GOP
I really have voted policy over personality. I don't think Trump is some savior or great human being. But his policies are better by a country mile. Too bad there is no political party to back him
-
Even the modest rollback in government that Trump represents is a threat to both sides political power.

The argument shifted from spend or don't spend to how much more do we spend
