The majority of oregons projected starters are transfers. They do it and do it well thus far. At some point you would think high school kids will catch on and sign elsewhere but that hasn't happened yet.

Fisch might want to go to Florida, I don’t know, although he isn’t from Florida, hasn’t lived there for 10 years, and originally went there not for the university or location but for the ol HBC.
But why would Florida want him more than anyone else? He is not a “Florida Man.” Didn’t play there, didn’t coach there outside of two GA years 25 years ago. Also hasn’t coached anywhere else in the SEC in 25 years. They have no idea who he is.
It’s like uw fans suddenly discovered coaches have Alma maters when they hired Fisch. Who gives a fuck.

The Florida thing is 100% a Jon Wilner/Pac 2/Quook wet dream. It doesn't come from any place of realism, just straight gaped out needle-ridden quook asshole.

I've always thought the portal was overblown but the fact is UW was left so bare by graduating, Jimmy not recruiting for two cycles, and portals out they had no choice, especially at OL. The other units I can live with what they got but OL is scary.
I would have thought with all the guys getting drafted this weekend gone it would have freed up a ton of NIL money to do more in the portal but maybe I was wrong.

All honesty, I’m starting to wonder if there’s anything to this cost of living discussion that’s been mentioned a couple times.
Sounds like a booster needs to buy a condo complex and then put the top NIL/portal transfers in there as part of the deal. I’m sure this is being done somewhere already.
