Anthony Dion speaks for a lot of people

PAC12 CCG and Sugar Bowl were highs. Since then the situation has been crap. I've found myself even more disinterested in UW football than I was during the OWEN great darkness.
-
It's not just UW fans.
-
Welcome to the brave new world of pro football
-
It’s more like a paid version of pickup ball at Greenlake.
-
I'm interested as ever, if not more.
-
I don’t understand how. It’s a shitshow where there’s no loyalty from anyone. I’m with @Southerndawg. I haven’t cared this little since the Ty days
-
Because football is entertainment. Yeah I'm not a fan of the current atmosphere but it will still be 11 faceless manboys versus 11 other faceless manboys in fall. Can't fight it, must adapt. I'm a chameleon, YEAH! Uh huh…
-
That’s fair. I’ll regain my interest once the games start. For now, I couldn’t care much less
-
Totally understandable to not be into it right now. I suspect some tunes will modulate from minor keys to major keys in August.
-
I’m just waiting until this last portal window closes. I’ve had zero interest in spring ball because you don’t know who’s sticking around. Soon I’ll be able to sink my teeth into who’s actually on the roster and figure out which guys I’ll start hating. Until then, who cares.
-
Anthony sounds like a whinny little bitch. He must be a retard living under a rock to not realize the good old days of college football are dead and gone.
-
Damn! At first, alot of you were bitching about lack of bags and not being able to out spend and compete with the schools who were paying. We went from Jimmy Lake to bags and bitches(winning/natty) in a blink of an eye and now you guys are against it!? Welcome To Flagstaff!
The winning formula is as follows....Get a handful of local bleed purple and shit gold guysm(Bruener), hire mercenary coach who has $ backing, and add a few renta players a year. Turn Husky Stadium into a must-experience atmosphere and beat fly-over dipshits, it's not that hard(that's what he/she said)
-
Fuck it. Get to 5-0 and bring Michigan and Husky Stadium is rocking like it was against Oregon last year and I'm in. I'm thinking we see more formal contracts and a more pro system very soon but it still is gonna feel fucked up. To me how good and relevant Washington is will be the catalyst for keeping me in the boat or not.
-
I don't disagree that they're gone, but the culture is awful. Sports used to be about teamwork, culture, hard work, loyalty, toughness, and camradery. Now it's about bling, am I starting, or will I start, and general narcissism.
-
Mark Jones giving the brothas a shout out!
-
Hey Anthony.
Disagree.
-
Your boat may be sinking, but there are good days on the horizon for UW football. I'm dead serious, the UW vs OU games will become epic, USC will be what is was in the 90's. Different format, same gayme....deal with it. Bring the fuckin romper room Husky Stadium to life on Saturday and I could give a fuck about how we got there. Welcome aboard Matey!!
-
VA passes law giving schools the power. We’ll see what transpires
-
let me guess, Stalin. You have a similar story about Tony that you do for the other whiny cunt that’s a coug fan.
also, you look like a badger fan now. -
They can finally allow player names in the NCAA video game, which is ironically no longer allowed to be called NCAA and also ironically I have no idea who the fuck is on our roster anymore.
My main gripe about this new era is I have no faith in big swinging dick donors to help us compete and recruit like a NATIONAL BRAND. Please save us, Bill Gates. Husky Stadium presented by 6G Microsoft dickhole vaccines has a nice ring to it.
I've always hated the NFL, so it's not looking good for my interest in UW football. I might be OUT and I MEAN IT this tim. Of course, if we start winning next year I'll be back in the bathroom with the spoon and lighter.
-
You know college sports are shit AF when even chicks' hoops has bagmen and all the stupid transfer portal malarkey.
-
The types that I've heard personally say they're done or these guys with "travel/foodie enthusiast" or some other gay as fuck shit in their Twitter bio are usually people that aren't consuming very much sports in the first place. Now this guy has more free time to post pictures of food he made for his wife or hiking up to Mt St. Helens or making his own hummus.
-
Hey, bud, if we're gonna bash enthusiasms for fine and food and travel, I'm out!
-
I'll be in my basement room with a needle and a spoon and another Sugar Bowl can take my pain my away.
-
81% of the people who say they are done with UW — or college — football are fucking liars looking for attention. Or retarded.
Or both.
Simple fact. Case closed.
-
I doubt anybody here wasn’t around for Owen. If you stayed after that, you’re not going anywhere.
-
I'll probably always watch the Huskies to some degree, but my fandom is probably 50% of what it was five years ago, and it's 30% of what it was 30 years ago. The rent a player mindset plus playing your conference "rivals" in Tony Soprano country, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Maryland etc. is beyond dumb.
-
I stopped watching from about 3 games into Ty until we barked for Sark. I also stopped watching after Peterman left.
-
If we are going to bash retards living under rocks, I am OUT!!
-
I don't give a shit who the coaches are, who the players are. True Dwags will always emerge to be legends. Beating Oregon at home like the good ol days was pure nostalgia. The look on Quooks faces when history took a left turn at 130 decibels was why I go, Cougs walk of shame, I respect SC and their 3hr fight song...yada yada
Looking forward to a crisp fall day with a big ten opponent not named Oregon St. During the run for the playoff/Natty/Fancy Feast Bowel I couldn't help sit in the 'new' Husky Stadium and remember some of the old timers who were season tickets who are long dead.
Things change and tim marches on, stop being pussies and threatening to quit when we are on verge of full share, Seattle market buy in, and getting to taunt a whole new crop of fans. Beating Michigan and THE OSU will be speshul, I know it was back in the day.
