Hots for Teacher - Van Halen
School by Nirvana is so simple and shitty it’s good
-
My Old School - Steely Dan
The Bleach songs, aside from About a Girl don't do it for me. They still needed Tim to get their reads down.
-
F.O. Row Peter Puffer, You Left Off
-
The Cradle Will Rock
Have you seen junior's grades?
Guitar riff
Gets me every time

My Old School - Steely Dan
Had this in my honorable mentions.

I have fond memories when I hear My Old School…at my HS grad, the class song was selected by administrators (Old Days, by Chicago), after three “democratic” votes of the class, each tim selecting Cat Scratch Fever. The ensemble got through about 16 bars of Old Days, the plug was pulled, replaced with My Old School blasting over the PA. I can still see the principal’s beet-red face as I type this…good tims, CSB…

Hots for Teacher - Van Halen
Hot for teacher is about the only VH song I can honestly say that I like. I like it quite a bit too, actually.

No contest here.

Hots for Teacher - Van Halen
Cock tugging, ass slapping frat boy music. You're welcome to it.

My Old School - Steely Dan
Not so fast my fren. While I love Hot For Teacher as much as the next REAL man, I don't think it wins this category.
It's the perfect @BleachedAnusDawg song with the technically proficient shredding of drums and guitars, but people (like me) forget that it was blatant plagarism shit fucko of a 1973 record called "Quadrant 4" by jazz fusion Bill Combham. @DerekJohnson @JoeEDangerously Billy Cobham played with Miles Davis when shit got really weird in the early 70s.
No, I think My Old School wins this one due the amazing guitar solos of Skunk Baxter (pre Doobies) and the @creepycoug academis smack talk about faggy liberal arts colleges in the Northeast. I can just imagine Creep telling his daughters "oh no, William and Mary won't do". That's for pours like @whlinder .

My Old School - Steely Dan
Hey, pal, there's no cognitive dissonance in putting on something like Rubber Soul or Bringing It All Back Home and then Van Halen 1984 in the same afternoon.
Some of your gals need to expand your wheel houses!!

My Old School - Steely Dan
I’m down with SD and My Old School and its insider enigmatic lyrics.
35 sweet goodbyes? JFC. Even the creep didn’t get that much action in a compressed period of time. -
My Old School - Steely Dan
You must rock the vote @creepycoug .
I also must admit I have a soft spot for "Be True To You School" in spite of Mike Love being the greatest evil villain in rock history.
I got a letterman's sweater
With a letter in front
I got for RowBoat and bullying Creep
I'm proud to where it now
When I cruise around
The other parts of the town
I got a decal in back -
Hots for Teacher - Van Halen
VH is the natty-winning Canes of the 80's compared to your William and Mary academis smack talk squad.
Hot for Teacher smacks you in the face, takes your lunch money, and has sex with your William and Mary women while you watch.

My Old School - Steely Dan
Listen to that track though. Seriously. I had know idea of the level of plagarism shit fucko!!

Hots for Teacher - Van Halen
Listen guy. I overstated my opinion as I tend to do. I don't dislike VH at all. I've given them enough chances though, and they've never risen to that spot you're talking about for me. I'd play Sabbath or Alice in Chains or maybe even Metallica instead.
Hot For Teacher kicks ass for real though. That riff could go on all day and I'd never complain. I think I prefer my VH uptempo.

Don’t know if this qualifies as “Rock”, but it isn’t lacking for Roll…
