He was really underutilized
because his hands aren’t elite. Hopefully he gets lasik eye surgery and becomes a difference maker for the hawks who no longer has a case of the drops.

Tried to catch the brief coverage of Penix working out, but like everything else with the NFL besides their playoffs, it's all just unwatchable. While being promised Rome/Penix working out several times in-between 20+ total minutes of commercials I endured:
An way too long interview with Bo Nix.
Caleb Williams eating and rating various sour candies.
An interview with JJ McCarthy where he's being tee'd up questions to fluff Harbaugh with.
Had to turn it off.
I was always hoping we were going to see Culp get some carries. Feels like that might have been a great chance to use his straight line speed. He caught balls this year and wa sa good and willing blocker in his career. Hopefully he made a good chunk of money yesterday.
I could see him being a Rick Fenney type. Interesting thought.
It's only "ultra fast" because he's got the TE label.
4.47 is probably top-25 for WR's in the draft. The guy is fast, regardless of position.
3rd fastest 40 for a tight end in combine history. So yeah, elite.
