Bart Fullmer is the equipment manager that told Hugh how hard the previous staff allegedly worked.
-
This sounds like it would be my alias. Also, nothing more reliable as a source than former equipment manager.
-
He played hurt the second half of the season and helped preserve the redshirt for Jackson while McMillan was dealing with his stuff.
Had a big KOR vs oregon in game one. Big punt return vs oregon in game two and scored a TD. Guy can play and would have been featured this year. He is a loss. I will say wdwha to make myself feel better.

Also, if I were writing a novel about a nosy equipment manager, his name would be Bart Fullmer.

Tim DeRuyter? was the DC you’re thinking of I think.
To avoid raiding a teams roster after a coaching change there should be three criteria for the existing roster, minus the unenrolled recruiting class. One, only grad transfers can immediately transfer out. They’re on their very last year and should be afforded the opportunity to get to a new team for spring ball. They graduated, they earned the ticket. Second, everyone else including early enrollees should have to stay through Spring ball. Give the strength staff and new coaches a couple months to show the kids what they have. Third, after spring ball any player is now allowed to enter the spring portal, regardless of how many transfers the kids have on record. By the spring game the coaching staff should have a great idea of who’s leaving and who’s staying and can plan for the next window accordingly. It also lets the harsh emotions of the kids die down and allows them to look at their future critically. My 2c. -
If he could only see you now!

I figured they were talking about Peter Sirmon

Bernard could've been a featured guy at UW. At Alabama, I think he's a #3 WR/KR, at best. And he was always playing on a hurt ankle at UW. Bigger loss for UW than a gain for Alabama, but DeBoer had to steal as much talent from UW as he could because he knew he'd be losing kids at Alabama and UW was one of a couple schools that would have the coaches portal open to backfill his new roster. I'd be surprised if Bernard does much of anything.

Yep DeRutyer. Didn't even know he went to Texas Tech after Oregon. Him or Sirmon seemed like the typical hire. I'm cool with trying something new. Hope that he feels like he has something to prove. Did Myles Bryant give him a good review?
-
Former? That dude has been around for 35 years, I'd imagine he knows WTF he's talking about when it comes to previous staffs.
