Are we required to play 5 Offensive Lineman?

the tactic seems to be for every one linemen that we loose we add two RB’s or two DB’s. You’re right though, nothing to be concerned about. I’m sure we’ll find 3 starters in the spring portal.
We? have zero depth and as shitty as he may have been he was penciled in as the LT starter.

Not worried, Ive been told WE? can just sign 10 quality B1G OL in the Spring.
Fish is doing great! Hope we can get another RB :)

What I learned from Texas fans is that if you weight 350+, you will be a great defensive lineman. So there should be plenty of Americans that can step in and play…as long as the NIL money is priced right.

this is big. Might not have any one to block but it’s a WR1. Need a #3. Boston/Giles as #3 and chico role.

You don't need 5 OL but it's the most advantageous to have 5 OL. A legal formation will have 2 ends on the LOS and 4 players in the backfield be eligible for a pass (includes a QB). You can always have less than 4 in the backfield but only the two on the outside at the LOS are eligible to catch a pass.
If you were to run an offense with 4 OL, one of the other position players would be required to be a blocker and cannot move downfield on a throw. Therefore, it's advantageous to have 5 OL since you have 5 dedicated blockers and 6 dedicated skill positions.

That was New Mexico State, but this dude is good. He was the highest PFF rated RB in FBS mid-season. Don't know how he finished. One of you dorks has a PFF subscription, I know it.
