I am not too familiar with the intricacies of legal formations. But based on the transfer priorities looks Like Fisch may be planning on running multiple RBs in formation.
Could we see the offensive version of Kwiatkoski Defense? With 2 Down lineman, 2 Tight ends, 6 WR/RB and 1 QB on the field at once? It's what our roster is built for.

pentuple option incoming!
We had the best passer in college football and the best receiver unit in college football, plus the best pass blocking OL (I didn't think they were as good overall as 2022 with Kirkland and Bain, but w/e) and still scored 9 points and 22 points in the rain.
We will be playing in the rain and snow now. Game in Eugene is now end of November, not a sunny October/beginning of November day.
Need to RTDB now, just not how Yimmy implemented it.
is that the same running back i saw run over auburn defenders for 60 minutes straight?
further proof that the 2 down linemen is the move.
so … the only thing I could think of is there some other team who’s entire o line is in the portal …
I scoured the on 3 portal listing …
and there is ….
The Akron Zips - they went 2-10 I think
I mean … there has to be some master plan in play right now … right ? …
and no … I don’t want the mighty mighty zips o line
Guy will probably be the starting LT and he bails the day after the first lifting session.
Maybe the new S and C guy is mean or something.
I don’t think we should lose sleep over this one
Weren't we getting clowned for taking him because his dad was coaching at Oregon when it happened?
the tactic seems to be for every one linemen that we loose we add two RB’s or two DB’s. You’re right though, nothing to be concerned about. I’m sure we’ll find 3 starters in the spring portal.
We? have zero depth and as shitty as he may have been he was penciled in as the LT starter.
Not worried, Ive been told WE? can just sign 10 quality B1G OL in the Spring.
Fish is doing great! Hope we can get another RB :)
What I learned from Texas fans is that if you weight 350+, you will be a great defensive lineman. So there should be plenty of Americans that can step in and play…as long as the NIL money is priced right.
this is big. Might not have any one to block but it’s a WR1. Need a #3. Boston/Giles as #3 and chico role.
You don't need 5 OL but it's the most advantageous to have 5 OL. A legal formation will have 2 ends on the LOS and 4 players in the backfield be eligible for a pass (includes a QB). You can always have less than 4 in the backfield but only the two on the outside at the LOS are eligible to catch a pass.
If you were to run an offense with 4 OL, one of the other position players would be required to be a blocker and cannot move downfield on a throw. Therefore, it's advantageous to have 5 OL since you have 5 dedicated blockers and 6 dedicated skill positions.
Our 7s team is going to win the natty
center.
That was New Mexico State, but this dude is good. He was the highest PFF rated RB in FBS mid-season. Don't know how he finished. One of you dorks has a PFF subscription, I know it.
