But When Did Dannen Know KDB Wasn’t Coming Back?

That was the ultimate selfish act. I don’t think people appreciate how totally unprecedented it was.Tequilla said:

There’s always going to be other great opportunities out there for great coaches.
But you don’t have 1 foot out the door in year 2 in the middle of a Natty run.
Fuck that guy forever.
The reason you get into the sports business at a high level is to compete and win championships … if you do that the money follows
To torpedo your chances when you get that chance (and there’s no guarantee you’ll ever get that chance again) speaks volumes about your character and priorities
No other coach in Cfb has done that, negotiating out of their team the night before a natty game.
Dude is Epstein island on the character scale for that one. -
Unprecedented is probably the best way to describe it
Comparing DeBoer leaving UW with Fisch leaving Arizona is completely apples and oranges -
100% - d-bag and fat fuck were colluding since Thanksgiving to get him into Bama and even Troy said that when he wouldn't sign the extension he knew something was up. Quite different from a postseason higher. I still can't believe that going into a national championship. What a fat piece of Dutchman shitTequilla said:Unprecedented is probably the best way to describe it

UW offered Debore a massive contract that would have had paid as a top 5 coach, the highest paid OC, one of the highest paid staffs in all of college football before bowl season and he slow rolled it to dick around with Alabama in the hotel room the night before the big gameTequilla said:Unprecedented is probably the best way to describe it

Arizona on the other hand had the best season in 30 years and still struggled to scrape together 5 million for their coach and when they finally did they were too busy fucking around in Spokane and too poor to actually give it to him until the end of the month. -
Just posted this on another thread:
My thoughts are, he was somewhat surprised by how many they won, saw that after this year the talent on hand was going to be fucking terrible, his recruiting sucked, but he was winning. He was at the top of the mountain as far as negotiating power, he knew that if he stayed, his stock would plummet. This was literally his Midas moment and he took it! If he didn’t, the next offer would be to a lateral move, not upward. So he jumped at the top! Can’t tell me most of you wouldn’t do the same.
He’s still a fucking scumbag and I hope he get’s herpes of the asshole from the SEC shoving their unwashed, non lubed cocks up his ass. FTG -
It's beyond the pale of @Mad_Son settlement, even in this fucked up age of college football.Tequilla said:

DeBoer had ZERO connection to Bamma or the SEC.
He was already in a Year 2 CFP/Natty run at a Top 10 to 20 type program about to triple the original salary. And that's not good enough to still around for 4 or 5 years? What the fuck.
I guess the lack of recruiting was a tell that people like me who hate TBSing ignored at our peril. -
He should've figured it out in August when DeBoer switched to Jimmy Sextonpawz said:
And yes, I know he was at Tulane acting as their AD then, but he should've known it then -
Was the weasel in New Orleans on some kind of parade float and if so, did UW know about it? If it’s something Dannen or his staff knew about and didn’t notice or worse, blessed off on, then they need to get their shit together.dirtysouwfdawg said:
So far… the weasel thing was pretty stupid though that was only under his watch and not his doing but just like in my real life, one of my subordinates fucks up, I fucked up.jecornel said:Let’s hope.

I suspect the Sugar Bowl committee/staff/Madri Gras people did a Google search for UW, found it and had it printed out and stuck it on the float. If that’s the case, that shit is on Cohen for not getting an intern to figure out how to suppress/remove the image from the internet.
As for the Huskie thing, who amongst us hasn’t had a typo before? -
