Coleman is awesome. Didn't have a ton of carries last year (100+ less than DJ) but was an absolute studSobchak_Security said:Coleman would be an upgrade at RB, IMO. Even though DJ was a dawg.

2 pages in and there’s no “Jonah and the Fisch” comment.
This page lacks wit. -
Yep, it’s not fair to do that to the players and tends violate the in loco parentis duty of colleges and universities.Doogles said:
It's all so fucked, imagine you're Fifita, you're a god on campus everyone loves you, Zona sorority strange throwing themselves your way, coach and system you believe in, primed for a season that will make you a Legend for all-time.Boner said:Not that they are here to play school, but how does transferring mid quarter/semester work? Does a guy from zona just drop classes, come to UW, work out/practice, and not have to start class until summer or fall quarters?
And now because your coach was poached your foundation is completely rocked and uncertain.
The new addition of players to the offseason musical chairs act isn't good for the sport in any capacity. Somebody is going to get caught holding the bag, fan engagement will plummet outside of like 20 schools.
I suppose this the world if they want to get paid but I’m sure there’s a better way than this.
You can’t crush fan bases off the field every year.
It reeks of corruption and that is a fail for the game. -
There’s a video of Fisch circulating where he said he’d like to see each team in the NFL fund 2 college teams and run it like a minor league system…and make that “college football.” He thinks it would solve a lot of problems with transfer portal/NIL, etc. They’d be employees but also student-athletes. Never heard that before but an interesting theory.Kingdome_Urinals said:

After 10 years it would generate about as much money and interest as the other MLB or NBA developmental leagues...wooderson92 said:

UW already has a big advantage in getting Fifita and TMAC beyond just Fisch and Carroll and that’s all the other big programs already have a QB or already bought one in the portal. And they’ll want to play togetherrodmansrage said:
