Washington vs. Michigan predictions

We will sell out to stop the run. McCarthy will be forced to make throws he can't make against a very underrated UW secondary that is flat out good when healthy.

Easy winFuck it. Burn the ships.
UW 34 - Michigan 14

Close winI have the same feeling I did for the Texas game, but for different reasons. I think there’s a chance we could win by double digits, but as always, it will be closer than it needs to be and my blood pressure will be through the roof.

Close winNot our style to blow teams out. We give opposing teams hope, which makes their tears much sweater
-
Close winIt would be poetic justice if this, of all games, is the boat race victory we haven’t seen since the early times of ‘23, a la Seattle over Denver in the Superb Owl.

Close winI heard the Michigan color guy (ISAFNRC) on the radio. After the usual anal ysis he predicted 42-38 or 42-35 Michigan, He acknowledged that UM hasn't seen anyone like Penix or the wideouts
He seems to be saying UM will not run it 50 times because they win 17-13 like they were playing Penn State if that were the case
Washington gets to 35 they win

Easy winMichigan is the Empire and we’re the Rebel alliance. (Not the woke one). A carefully placed missile up their ass using the force will be the difference.

Close winCannot imagine putting anything other then close win after watching all the games this year
-
Close winWhen was the last time UW had an OT game?
-
Easy winI don't remember where I read it but someone was confident that going into the Playoffs that Texas vs Washington would be the real Natty game.
Michigan didn't impress in the rose bowl and Alabama choked. -
Close win
I have heard that Viagra helps keep blood pressure low. Might as well pop one before the game, stay loose with Mrs. Feces at halftime, and then celebrate after the game.EsophagealFeces said:I have the same feeling I did for the Texas game, but for different reasons. Easy winBooger picked Michigan to win on PTI today… get the banner ready

Michigan fans have forgotten that Texas beat Alabama much easier than they did.rivercitybridie said:I should say some of my comment was devil's advocate
I think UM is massively overrated and UW massively underrated. Just to show I am not a delusional homer, I think Georgia would beat both soundly
I think UM fans need to remember they lost to TCU in last year's semi's. Then Georgia beat T CU by 54 points the next week
In Alabama. -
Close winMy gut feeling says we are going to absolutely spank the shit out of them, reason being...our defense is good enough and physical enough to get stops when they need to and the offense with Rome, Polk, McMillihan, and Westy/Culp should absolutely put up points. I feel like this team was one or two plays away from blowing out Oregon and Texas, we just couldn't get over the hump, most of it self inflicted
My over confidence or inner Doog needs more reality so I'm going 35 - 21 Dawgs -

Close winWashington is the better team. Play the game in Anne Arbor in January and I'd pick UW.

Blowout LossI just found out we are playing the Baltimore Ravens. If we played Michigan I would feel like we could squeak one out, but I’m not sure how we beat the Ravens. NFL teams are just too much, even for great college teams.

Easy winseason reminds me of the seahawks super bowl run. all the miracles that were required that year, ending in a spectacular climax

Not the inept GA that lost to Alabama. They looked like cow dung.rivercitybridie said:I should say some of my comment was devil's advocate

I said it multiple times. The Alabama QB is an athlete not a QB. He's not too bright and can't adjust at the LOS. Michigan sent 5 and 6 all game. They will get picked apart if they try that against WA. Michigan played in a down Big10 while the Pac 12 was potentially the best it's ever been. I'd say even when it was the Pac10 going back 3 or 4 decades. We? were told UW couldn't stop the OSU running game. We? were told Oregon had the best DL UW would see until TX apparently had the best DL in the country and now we're? supposed to believe Michigan's DL is better than UO and TX??? ESPN and the media can all fuck off.haie said:I don't remember where I read it but someone was confident that going into the Playoffs that Texas vs Washington would be the real Natty game.

They have some up there but it's not like facing 2016 Alabama or the last two Georgia teams. Not even close.rivercitybridie said:rivercitybridie said:i like UW really big............... or maybe a very low scoring game where UM has good chance (but that would be way under the TOTAL)
just to show i'm not homer 1) in 2016\, i remember telling a hot football-fanatic chick at the gym that UW had ZERO chance to beat Alabama in the semi final, 2) and as said earlier, i think Georgia would beat both teams soundly. i think Georgia would have a defense that might give UW fits. Michigan doesn't (correct me if i'm wrong but do they have good NFL prospects now? Hutchison has been gone for awhile)....
ok, i stand corrected.. UM does have players way up the defensive positional rankings... -
Close winMy gut tells me we win and we will lead the whole game. We attack on offense where Michigan really doesn't. That is a recipe for us to play ahead. I just don't see how McCarthy beats us. He is pretty overrated but that opinion is based on donks in the media claiming he is a sure fire 1st rd pick. I see 3-4th rd pick.

And even 2016 Alabama got its ass beat by a dynamic QB and WRs who could make contested catches. With a Clemson OL that had exactly zero guys who had meaningful NFL careers.WoolleyDoog said:

Sark also went three passes and punt most of the 2nd half against Clemson with freshman Hurts
Leaving the UW Bama game the buzz was that Bama was in trouble against Clemson
