I loved the story ESPN announcers told about Grubb and images shown of Penix

Something about how Grubb was pouring concrete by day and sleeping in the carport of his sister's doublewide when he got the call from DeBoer at Sioux Falls to come be a coach...

Also...
The montage ESPN showed of Penix injury photos from Indiana that looked like images from the Kent State shootings...
That's when they weren't busy showing various angles of Sark crouching with playsheet in hand... "The master of deception" in his element, a genius like Picasso in his studio.

I've had ESPN's dumb fuck shows on for at least a hour and all they've talked about is Saban blowing the 4th down call and that Harbaugh is definitely leaving for the NFL.

I wonder if Grubb ever poured any runway tarmac?

And lest I be misunderstood, I like Grubb a lot. This is not meant as a put down. I thought it was a perfect origin story given how down-to-earth DeBoer is.

There's a new street drug that is causing crouching and drooping. Close the border to save Sark. This is bigger than football.

I felt that showing the fat cheerleaders continued to jinx us but then they started rolling that injury segment and my eyeballs about popped out of my head. They may as well have shown the weasel logo as well and called it a day

ESPN showed the Ewers clan all evening and couldn’t bother showing the Penix family until the game was over. Makes sense!
