Hard to believe some college football players (maybe not 1st or 2nd rounders) may end up staying in college because they can make more in NIL than in NFL wages.

That's what I've been saying. It makes no sense from an economis perspective. The ROI just isn't there. I get that some of the money comes from boosters and sponsors, but who the fuck is going to pony up $20mil for one year of a wide receiver? Maybe you could justify that for a QB, but if he's that good, he's probably going round 1. I paid more money to go to Ohio State and Penn State games than I paid to go to Eagles games. I was able to sit basically on the field last December for $100 to see the Dolphins. Someone is making a shitload of money for college Football.

For just being handed cash you are probably right.
