Kasen Williams

I saw that
-
Sounds too edgy
-
YRYK... The look on his face and his body language spoke volumes.
-
I don't blame him for being pissed. Miley is costing him the chance to be drafted. He made no secret of being pissed on the final drive.
-
-
Is he OKG enough?
-
He certainly looked to be having major issues. Yelling at your QB during the game, on the field, is never a good look.
However, Williams didnt do a whole lot to make himself stand out. Miley sucked but I dont remember very many plays where Williams was running wide open after making a great move to beat his guy
Williams doesnt have the skill or production to be the guy bitching out Miley. The Defense, Ross, and Durkee are the ones who deserve a shot at miley in the locker room after the game. -
At least he gives a shit.
Say what you want about Kasen, but he has made some big plays in big situations (Furd 12 being one that immediately springs to mind). I think he's pissed that John Denver Milus Mellencamp sucks cock and I don't blame him. -
He was a solid draft pick with Price. Now he will have to fight for a position as a free agent. That injury was a bitch.RoadDawg55 said:I don't blame him for being pissed. Miley is costing him the chance to be drafted. He made no secret of being pissed on the final drive.

Williams would run a fucking 4.9 at the combine
-
Kasen's blocking was a lot of what made the run game go in the last few years, the dude's earned a little bit of leeway to pop off to a shitty sophomore quarterback.
-
I'm not saying this to be a sarcastic dick, but because I really believe it. Kasen will be playing in the CFL, not the NFL.
-
I really like Kasen, but if he gets in under 5.0 at the combine right now, I'd be shocked. Of all the things to happen to him that was not the right thing. He was a 4.7 guy as it was... Still, he's the best 'receiver' on the team in terms of hands for difficult catches (he blows the easy ones a lot).PostGameOrangeSlices said:Williams would run a fucking 4.9 at the combine

I bet he runs a faster 40 than you think. Probably a 4.6. I don't think his change of direction is very good though. I still think he plays in the NFL for a couple years.

I hope so. He plays with fire... he's not an ASJ.RoadDawg55 said:I bet he runs a faster 40 than you think. Probably a 4.6. I don't think his change of direction is very good though. I still think he plays in the NFL for a couple years.

I'd like that to be true but I just can't make myself believe it. I used to quietly debate his future in my mind, going back to before the injury. He has always had trouble getting open, but I'd always decide that his hands and physical play would get him through. The guy flat out can't get open now though. He can't even get some space to throw a 50:50 ball into.RoadDawg55 said:I bet he runs a faster 40 than you think. Probably a 4.6. I don't think his change of direction is very good though. I'm not holding onto much hope for him. Hopefully he has a good degree and plan for when his Cfl career ends.

Jermaine Kearse is an average NFL receiver, and Kasen is nowhere close to that good. He might get a sniff, but no way he sticks.

You mean "mediocre".EsophagealFeces said:Jermaine Kearse is an average NFL receiver, and Kasen is nowhere close to that good. He might get a sniff, but no way he sticks.

Kasen looked like an old man today

Did you see Kearse in the Super Bowl? Mediocre?

SQC's fat ass has a better shot at running a 4.6 than Kasen does.RoadDawg55 said:I bet he runs a faster 40 than you think. Probably a 4.6. I don't think his change of direction is very good though. I still think he plays in the NFL for a couple years.
Stick a fork in him Jerry, he's done.

It was a reference to Seahawks receivers (especially Doug Baldwin) sarcastically referring to themselves as mediocre and pedestrian.RaceBannon said:Did you see Kearse in the Super Bowl? Mediocre?

Got it

The first step is admitting it.RaceBannon said:Got it

The second step is getting me another drink.

Kasen needs another season. I think he should get a Medical RS but that may not be possible. Kasen has done far more than Miley and that includes going back to HS.
-
I don't know if it's Kasen's injury or an ineffective offense/quarterback that has led to his new found invisibility, but #2 is one of the few true players on our offense. He's earned his stripes, and it pisses me off to see his career end with such a whimper.
-
He can't get a medical reshirt because he's already played five games. I agree he should have RS'ed this year.DawgDaze71 said:Kasen needs another season. I think he should get a Medical RS but that may not be possible. Kasen has done far more than Miley and that includes going back to HS.
