Kasen Williams

Kasen's blocking was a lot of what made the run game go in the last few years, the dude's earned a little bit of leeway to pop off to a shitty sophomore quarterback.

I'm not saying this to be a sarcastic dick, but because I really believe it. Kasen will be playing in the CFL, not the NFL.

I really like Kasen, but if he gets in under 5.0 at the combine right now, I'd be shocked. Of all the things to happen to him that was not the right thing. He was a 4.7 guy as it was... Still, he's the best 'receiver' on the team in terms of hands for difficult catches (he blows the easy ones a lot).PostGameOrangeSlices said:Williams would run a fucking 4.9 at the combine

I bet he runs a faster 40 than you think. Probably a 4.6. I don't think his change of direction is very good though. I still think he plays in the NFL for a couple years.

I hope so. He plays with fire... he's not an ASJ.RoadDawg55 said:I bet he runs a faster 40 than you think. Probably a 4.6. I don't think his change of direction is very good though. I still think he plays in the NFL for a couple years.

I'd like that to be true but I just can't make myself believe it. I used to quietly debate his future in my mind, going back to before the injury. He has always had trouble getting open, but I'd always decide that his hands and physical play would get him through. The guy flat out can't get open now though. He can't even get some space to throw a 50:50 ball into.RoadDawg55 said:I bet he runs a faster 40 than you think. Probably a 4.6. I don't think his change of direction is very good though. I'm not holding onto much hope for him. Hopefully he has a good degree and plan for when his Cfl career ends.

Jermaine Kearse is an average NFL receiver, and Kasen is nowhere close to that good. He might get a sniff, but no way he sticks.
