He blocks like an extra lineman coming out of the backfield. Fights guys with his entire body. Almost held guys on some of those when he was pushed back against the pocket. The reason they’re in the final four is because of that sort of fight and tenacity out of positions you don’t expect. He literally plugs up holes the linemen don’t have the bodies to fill. Penix couldn’t have made those throws without DJ there.

He's a more herky jerky Chris Polk.
I don't remember if Polk could pass block, but I still like Polk more as a runner. He also had way less space to work with.
