First thing I notice (other than the ballerinas on defense) was DJ's slide.

    I love it.

That last drive was 8 plays including a holding penalty on UW.

5 runs by DJ covering 35 yards, 1 throw, 1 penalty and 1 kneel down.

Took 2:13 off the clock and Oregon couldn’t stop us when they absolutely needed to. So much for them being the more physical team.

Imagine DJ with a healthy foot against Tejas.

I know the Myles Gaskin run in the 2018 Snow Bowl Redux was pure catharsis, but this just means more. We big dicked the vaunted Eye Test /Fan Duel Pack Champs when all they had to do was get a stop on a 3rd and 9 obvious run situation.

    Fowler

They can run here then it's 4th down and they take 40 seconds

MAYBE NOT Johnson gets the first down
Yeah, I noticed that on the rewatch. He even said out loud that we would run again and then punt. Fuck that guy.

If he didn't let up and slide he could've scored on that run. Wayne T scored on a very similar play last year in the Apple Cup.

DJ sliding down was huge, I'm sure he remembers the punch out fumble a couple games ago and said, "not this time" love it

Agreed. He would have run through that safety’s arm tackle and inserted the plunger. Still a smart play to take the slide and call it a day. No reason to make the D go back out there

Yeah, trying to score would have been stupid.

I was screaming at him to go down and preserve the win but now rewatching it how sweet would've been for the final fuck you to score on 3rd and 9 while trying to run out the clock.

    That would have been the only way you give Oregon a chance. Slim, but they showed they could score in a matter of seconds.;

I think that was a pretty logical assumption to make in that situation.

I guess the slide is good. He could fumble or do the Leon Lett thing that dummy did a month ago. Someone could punch it out.

OTOH, it's Oregon, so I'd have no problem if they put up 84 points on them. No mercy. Running up the score is encouraged.

Kirk yelped with excitement when Oregon scored to get within 3

I actually think Kirk likes us and really likes DeBoer. Always has positive things to say.

But he definitely loves Oregon and fangirls over them, for whatever reason.

Yeah, he came when Oregon scored that last TD.

Fowler has jumped to the Husky bandwagon though. Almost a fight in the booth over the Penix non fumble

Fowler saying it was a good call

Fowler is the best in the business

He literally called out the fucking pointless wef analyst that got phone in "his arm is moving forward"

Queue silence from Kirk and wef superiority guy

I couldn't believe all the discussion about that one. How many fucking times do you need to see the ball move forward in his hand before you give up and admit what you just saw?
