It took me an entire hour to leave a family function (the Midwest Goodbye is the polar opposite of the Irish goodbye) and I was forced to take home two casserole dishes, a plate of home baked cookies, a case a beer, and a pair of gloves (“ya, it might just be coooooolld out there.”) -
