I love Polk and I feel great about throwing to him this and every week but he had 4 games last year with 15 or less yards and 9 games with less than 50. He wasn't an automatic last year by any means. It was probably the absolute worst game to bring him back too. If I have one wish for the Apple Cup it’s to get him going/his confidence back. I’m not asking for much, just 300 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns.

I still shake my head that UW has really not had many DBs play for Seattle during the Pete Carroll era. All these studs, right in his backyard, and Carroll is a DB guy. Is it Carroll's stupid "step kick" thing?
I know Sydney Jones was there for a while, but he was broken by the time he played in the NFL. -
I think a lot of it is Pete's obsession with arm length. Outside of Kevin King and Keith Taylor I don't think most of them met Pete's required arm length specs.
