I did enjoy Kirk and Fowler broadcasting the Oregon funeral at Husky Stadium

One thing you wouldn't see before the game unless you were there is the fellating of the oregon support staff. Fowler and herbie were yucking it up and high fiving all pregame with the oregon admin and staff on the sidelines and field during warm ups.
I thought maybe this is normal and once the uw staff came out you would see the same thing with their support staff and admin. Didn't happen.
Maybe it's nothing but it seems odd. I had no problem with how they called the game for the record. -
I probably wouldn't like the pompous fuck regardless, but there was a show where they did a tournament bracket to select the best team of all time. In the first round, 91 UW was matched up with the undefeated USC team who lost to Texas in the BCS champ game. I think it was 2008. This was before the game was played, of course, so they were doing their best to hype USC.
Herbie waved off the 91 UW team with that classic pompous smirk. He barely even gave the matchup any thought or air time. SC went on to "win" the gay bracket. It was hard to watch, especially given what a shit defense that USC team had. Vince Young could have beaten them by himself, and he pretty much did only a week or two later. -

He was good on Gameday up until 10 years ago. Not that I've watched Gameday much since it became so stupid and so long. I lost a ton of respect for him when he cried because of BLM or something. I know, TITTT (no).
I don't think he's great as a play by play guy. The fact Joel Clap and him are supposedly the top guys is a joke. He should be in the third or fourth crew. In general, these guys are significantly worse than they were in the 80s and 90s as are the announcers. As an example, compare Marv Albert with his son. -
Kirk is fine.
He sometimes gets caught up in Oregon fighting for clicks a bit too much -

Honestly, I was fine with FSU at #4 until last weeks game. Miami started a backup qb and he went like 6-20 passing or some shit like that, and they hold on to win by a TD. Fuck that. UW has had some nail biters but so too has FSU. And unlike FSU, UW has one thing they do that is elite. Honestly, if Alabama and OSU win out, I’d put a one loss Alabama, OSU, one loss Oregon/UW, a one loss Georgia, and a one loss Texas over an undefeated FSU. The ACC is hot fucking garbage.
